Street noise can be quite disturbing at night! No hairdryer in the room, and although the staff was friendly, there was a noticeable lack of assistance when no one was at the front desk.

Rooms are impressively clean with a decent bathroom setup right across the hall, which, despite its oddity, was spotless and spacious.

The absence of a kettle or tea-making facilities is frustrating. Be warned, there's no lift, and the hotel might feel unstaffed at times. this is not ideal for anyone needing help with bags. The street noise is serious—loud vehicles outside can infringe on a good night's sleep, especially with old windows that don’t do much to block sound.

Great spot for a group trip! We loved the close proximity to the old market and the opera house. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the historic vibes brought so much charm. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay much easier!

wow, my stay here was an absolute letdown. the bathroom was cramped, and getting into the shower was a ridiculous task. also, after paying so much, I truly expected a room upgrade—after all, isn’t that standard for valued guests? my stay was fantastic as i enjoyed being just a few steps from the bustling ballarò market and found that the hotel was right on a long pedestrian street, making it easy to explore the city on foot. the impressive marble staircase leading up to the hotel set the tone for a charming experience, and the quick walk to landmarks like the cattedrale di palermo and the stunning teatro massimo made every day an adventure.

It was just a decent option for an overnight stop in Palermo with good price-value balance. I really enjoyed the charming historic vibe of the place and the cozy atmosphere made my stay quite pleasant. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, as the street noise can get pretty loud at night.
